There's something alluring about Yoruichi's expressions. She comes across as quite animalistic and estatic, like a wild beast, that wants nothing more than to thrust it's deadly claws into you. Her almost blank eyes, with a literal spark and her almost mad and devilish grin, as she's ready to throw herself into the high of battle, combined with her beauty create a paradoxical effect of allure, fright and madness.

Which in my opinion is just beautiful. Going by that panel alone, I would've called this chapter "The Killer's High 3". This is something Kubo can do quite well, combining graceful beauty with disturbing insanity. Especially when it comes to female villains, Like Cirucci, Loly, Candice, Bambietta and especially Giselle, probably one of the many reason I like her so much. But male characters also can do it, like (Hollow)Ichigo, Yylfordt, Szayel, Yukio, Grimmjow, Tsukishima, Kenpachi or Gremmy. It's really a shame that Haschwalth and Byakuya are not the type, who like to express themselves much. I would have loved to see their beauty combined with insanity and lust. But maybe Yhwach will become Tensa Zamgetsu or Mugetsu at some point, which is basically a black haired Haschwalth. Also a reason why I prefer Quincy not to transform, because it takes the beauty out of the equation. Yoruichi is actually much more hedonistic than she appears. Sure she's a good mentor and all, but she does care more about passion than things like good and evil, as she told Orihime. I also liked her angry expression, though she looked older than usual. But the use of shadows gave it a special appeal. Since Yuushiro arrived on Askin's platform, it means he actually had to pass the castle, aka their goal. This is beyond stupid, this is lethal recklessness. He actually put the mission on hold because of his sister. Speaking of his feelings for his sister, he's quite the sister complex and wanted to touch Yoruichi on quite the intimate place. Guess, if there were a spin-off with him, it would be called "My older sister can't be this hot". I'm not a big fan of these brother-sister-complexes and think, they are like cancer in the manga industry. At least it wasn't a little sister calling for her oni-chan. I'm so sick of those. And I don't even have something against incest itself, since it can be quite interesting if it's done tackfully.

I feel like Inuarashi and Nekomamushi are going to be friends together (or atleast be able to fight together again) with the help of Luffy. Luffy might be the intimidator they need to get on speaking terms again, since they both want revenge on Jack they might put there differences aside (like for example Vegeta and Goku got from enemies to being on speaking terms to defeat Freeza on Planet Namek) and get ready to be on friendship basis (or at least on speaking terms) once more to get rid of Jack.

But for that to happen someone needs to make sure to that the Minks and Ino and Neko need to be able to fight together with the samurais as well. The fight with Jack is most definitely going to take place on Wano, and its not going to help if the Minks and Ino and Neko have this strong resentment towards Samurai. So also here Luffy is going to help as the intemidiator with getting the Minks and Samurai together to being able to fight to overthrow the leader of Wano country that is in my opinion Kaido. The minks have a score to settle with Jack, the Samurai want to get rid of Kaido seems to me like they need to work together to accomplish that. They might not become friends (the Minks and the Samurai I mean), but they sure as hell can endure each other for the time the fight with Kaido takes. I see a lot of people talking about the "black tac" here, but i have to say, of the few people we've seen so far, who use haki with a weapon. Their hands turned black as well, so i doubt Nami is using CoA here. Also see a lot of people saying Sanji is in need of saving. Well it was stated he wasn't kidnapped/abducted, so we can assume to save the Minks from being invaded again by the Big Mum pirates, Sanji took Ceasar, and left, and they followed after them. We also get a bit more info on Jack, as Wanda still doubts that he is dead, just from seeing him fight. So either he somehow managed to get Doffy (which i can't really see) or he got away, and the WG wants people to think they killed one of it's (so far) most wanted people. With the Minks, it said all of them were saved? how is that possible ? Some of Jack's men were going around and stabbing the Minks. So i'm confused as to how ALL of them were saved? Makes Jack seem kinda meh, that none of the Minks were killed. This chapter was good, gives some more info/background on the situation, can't wait to see what Pekoms/Tamago/Capone do. I'm also excited to see more Sanji this year, and finally hear more about his origins. I feel like it may be important, and open up a lot more doors in the story.

Quite the opposite, Jack's performance has been phenomenal, the greatest in the New World bar none. The two kings are also extremely strong. Luffy hyped up the Duke's strength, someone he's only done to an Admiral in the NW thanks to his CoO. What the rulers showed is mad impressive considering Jack's strength and how he kept fighting for 5 days straight without any food, water, and res; something Luffy is not capable of doing. Luffy couldn't even beat Doflamingo and the way Oda portrayed Jack is on the same level as Doffy or greater. Therefore how can Zoro beat Jack? Instead, he would lose against Jack and die.

You also claim rating them above the monster trio is far fetched. Did you see the guardians sneak up on Luffy? He didn't even know that they were getting ready to jump him. The Minks have been impressive and Jack even moreso. I doubt Luffy could even beat him at this point, and Kaido is just overkill and unfair.

if Askin is right about the heart, that would mean that even the Soul King hates himself O_o? Considering that Bach appears to hate the vessel of the Soul King and yet he had no problem taking 2 parts of the Soul King with him and even have them as his most Elite Stern Ritters suggest he was rather confident that the limb/organ would not have any interesting going back to the Soul King. Which is interesting considering when Bleach itself started off as a concept of Hollows were beings that were no longer whole, they had a hole where their heart was and they turned into monsters with mask because they couldn't find peace and yet here we have the Soul King who isn't whole and yet neither Pernida or Gerard showed any compassion/connection with the Soul King.

Even though the right hand of the Soul King was used and was willing to protect the Soul King, neither the heart nor the left arm cared. I wasn't expecting them to go back to Askin but from a storyline point it would of made sense so I"m kinda glad that my hopeful thought turned out to be true cause I had wondered what Kubo would of done with Gerard to make the "year finale" engaging. Now that we went back to Askin first it does open the door for something to happen now that all the players are known on the Elite side in a sense. Askin blowing the whistle on Gerard which I believe gives 2 or 1 more chapter to end the year with something interesting.

I like that Gerard transformed into a giant, but I really hope he doesn’t completely lose his mind. We may say a lot of things towards Kubo’s writing, but he does tend to connect dots of his story in a pretty unusual way, because I do remember a comment about “Eyes being a sign of a true Quincy” coming from under Bach’s mustaches. Now that I think about it, Gerard’s gigantic form reminds me of Komamura’s human form. It must be due to that fancy hair. On another note, I know a lot of people will say that he has gone completely mad, because he’s shouting a lot, but I don’t think that way. From the way his words were translated, he sounds like a strict general, or a military training commander than a madman. You know, how they use a lot of shouting and harsh words towards greenhorns in armies to scare and toughen them up. Well, that’s my opinion, at least. From where I stand, the action was very intense this week. It was good to see the Shinigami this powerless in front of a huge obstacle (quite literally), even though we all know that Gerard’s chances for victory are pretty slim no matter how high our hopes for his success and survival are. With all of the group lying on the floor, defeated (I think it’s safe to use that word for this stage of battle), I wonder – will some of the rise against the threat or, will somebody (Urahara, Soi Fon, Love or whoever else that might be) come to aid them.

Getting to the flashback it was nice to see the musketeers being Lord Sicilion, and a zebra and um another mink that I can't really determine what it is? help out. Also it was very nice to see Duke Inuarashi talk and try to tell Jack that No samurai were in his country and offered to allow Jack to look freely without interruption, but unfortunately Jack just wanting to destroy everything attacks and doesn't give a crap about any kind of negotiations. Though it was nice seeing Inuarashi stop Jack's attack with 1 arm that was cool. Jack having a 1 billion berry Bounty is insane to be honest but really goes to show how crazy and destructive Jack is. Loved seeing the minks fight back against Jack's forces and found it funny how I think the Eruption rain happened and flooded causing problems for Kaido's men. The stuff with Nekomamushi was pretty good as well tbh and I loved Inuarashi saying Jack wasn't the only crazy one there. Loved Nekomamushi grabbing Jack and throwing him that was great and shows that he is very strong as well. Gotta say I loved Nekomamushi's line that he would eat the samurai if he was there on Zou that was cool and Jack reverting back to human form was cool as well Can't wait to see him in human form.

revealing Aizen like that served as a response to say "nope he didn't use shikai or anything to escape his prison, he's still trapped and just sitting there." So it's more like, don't expect him to suddenly appear in the Royal Realm because he's still in Soul Society, it just clarified his position which is a good one to clarify. Since Shunsui did remark as if Aizen would of been capable of escaping when he first let him up to have fresh air, and it's kinda true because Aizen was able to speak before Shunsui removed the locks from those 3 seals, so Aizen does have something up his sleeve that we don't know about yet. Though, damn shame thinking about it, it would of been funny if the clip of Aizen had dead Stern Ritter soldiers who tried to bumrush him and all died cause of the reitasu lol. It is kinda interesting thinking on it, Kira and Komamura were the ones in a way tricked by Aizen to do his bidding so it will be interesting if they pay him a visit with of course Iba being the one to speak in Komamura's place to maybe find more peace with Tousen. Kira with Gin, so it is interesting that those 2 did remain down in Soul Society so we might seem some character dialogue with those four.
